Korres

Korres is my current favorite line of beauty products. It's from Greece and is natural. The Jasmine Showergel smells very real and not that icky faux-jasmine scent. I've also used their Deep Colour Mascara, which is one of the best everyday mascaras I've found. However, it's the facial care system that is the very best. The White Tea Facial Fluid Gel Cleanser is super gentle, yet still gets all the guck off. I follow with the Wild Rose Brightening Serum and Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturizer . I would use the Serum step even if my dry skin didn't demand it because it smells so darn good.

Sherlock

Sherlock Holmes's Birthday is today. Yes, the world's greatest consulting detective was born on January 6th, 1854. I confess that I love the Sherlock stories and find him attractive. So, in honor of his birthday I have two questions.

1.Who is your favorite Holmes overall? The original, Jeremy Brett, Basil Rathbone, or Robert Downey Jr?

2. Which of the above Holmes choices would you rather be stuck with on a foggy moor...and not in a I'm your client way?

New Beginnings

I'm so bored with making the same New Year's Resolutions year after year that I'm not making any this year. Instead, I'm going to just try to not be as lethargic and un-energetic as last year. That will be challenge enough!

It's a New Year

Happy New Year!! Once again it's a new year. Time to set all the resolutions I meant to do last year.

Ode to Lip Balm

I am a lip balm addict. And no, I don't think that I can stop at anytime I want. I've got it bad and I like it that way. My lips seem to be serial monogamists. They are faithful to one balm, rejecting all others with flaking and tightness until one day they don't love the current balm anymore and finds someone new. First there was the Vaseline in the tube, simple and basic. The perfect first love.

Then my lips needed something more complex and so fell for the Blistex tub.
Obviously, the tub is not a real pocket friendly format and so the lips moved on to the Blistex Herbal Answer in the tube.

The current balm may be The One. My lips have been true for several years to Mudlark Luxe Beeswax Lip Balm in either peppermint or spearmint. Ah, bliss.
